About Us
The First Covenant Foundation's Directors
Our fourth director and board member, Dr. Robert E. Buxbaum, joined us last February, 2013. As for the three founding directors, they all began studying, teaching and writing about the First Covenant more than 20 years ago.

Michael Dallen, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, founded First Covenant together with J.E. Saunders and Rabbi Michael Katz. An attorney and writer, who became bar mitzvah as a Conservative Jew, he began treating Israel's Torah Covenant (the Covenant of Sinai) completely seriously only after learning of the First Covenant. An Orthodox Jew, he wrote The Rainbow Covenant

Jack Saunders, director and vice-chair, was a Baptist pastor when he began studying Torah. He is the president
and lector (principal teacher) of Frazier's Chapel, near Cleveland, Tennessee. A devout Torah-student and teacher, a life-long student of Scripture (and an expert on Christian theology and church history), he helped write Rainbow Covenant.

Rabbi Michael Katz, our third founding director and board member, has served
as a rabbinic adviser to Noahides since 1989 (called "the guru to the goyim," by CNN). Rabbi Katz worked with M.E. Dallen and J.E. Saunders on Rainbow
Covenant. Rabbi Katz
began his professional career in South Africa; he received semicha (rabbinic "ordination") from Ner Israel in Baltimore. A well-known Torah teacher, a businessman and writer, he lives in Miami, Florida
with his wife, Toby (daughter of Ohr Sameyach's late Rabbi Nachman Bulman,
of blessed memory), and their children, Shai, Naomi and Shifra.

First Covenant studies, discusses and explains the First Covenant - that is, the Universal Covenant, including the whole amazing code of Biblical laws and principles pertaining to non-Jews, Noahides (the vast majority of the human race), as well as to Jews.
These are the laws - the eternal touchstone principles of morality, monotheism and "God-consciousness" - that flow directly from the Principle that the individual human being is sacred, that (in Bible-speak) betzelem elokim, "God made man in His image."
The First Covenant - also called the Noahide, the Universal, and the Rainbow Covenant - is the basis of all true religion and morality.
